Just got word that Kristen is out of surgery and that everything went well. They inserted the medi-port and removed 7 nodes for testing. Kristen is still asleep but the surgeon feels like it was a success. Darryl has been by her side all day. It's been a long day for both of them and I'm sure they'll be happy to get home.
